After a long week in France I am back to Oslo and my feeling is “home sweet home”. There will be no photos from France since it was”a phone in the drawer, camera back home trip”. It is important for me to disconnect once in a while (disconnect from social, connect with people) this is why I go through periods without any posts.
Spring in Oslo is absolutely stunning. Beautiful petals on the pavements, spring blooming trees, lovely temperatures and light rain makes the perfect time for long walks and a trench coat. Trench coat makes the closet staple that isn’t subject to fast fashion trends. It goes with every look and is the perfect outerwear for this season.
Why is it called a trench coat? The origins of this garment can be traced to the Tielocken coat Thomas Burberry designed for British officers in the Boer War. The coats were referred to by their creator’s name and made of gabardine, an innovative and durable wool fabric designed by Burberry to repel water and keep the wearer warm but ventilated
