Summer days in Oslo part 2

What to do during summer days in Oslo? If you are a foodie and a sun seeker and you want to explore the hip vibe of the city then the answer is simple. Summer or winter go to Grunerløkka lay with your bikini on the grass or just enjoy a good meal and some great cocktails.

Grünerløkka is one of Oslo’s hippest areas. Known for street art løkka, as we call it, is the hub of contrast. Indie boutiques, weekend markets, industrial concert venues, cool bars and a huge variety of restaurants and bars. I could make a list of all the places you could go to but if you are up for a place with great design and Scandinavian menu then Nedre Foss could be a great lunch stop. Situated in the heart of Løkka you will be surprised to see that it has the cutest back-garden where they serve food and drinks. Now if you are a sucker for Scandinavian interior design then you need to visit their main restaurant for dinner. The place it is just stunning and the artisan of Scandinavian restaurant interior. On the same building you will find a great cocktail bar and an even better wine bar.

And if you are up for a cocktail under the warm sun of Oslo then 10 minutes walk from there you will find one of the most known cocktail bars in the city Bettola. Grab a seat outside, ask for a drink-they can make almost everything and enjoy the city buzz.
