If I appreciate something about living in Scandinavia is Saturday night out with my girls with sneakers. Don’t rush to judge me it is all of us here, almost dropping our high heels and prioritizing comfort… I cannot remember the last time I wore heels here, oh wait yes I do. February at a gala party and that was about it. Comfort comes first, vanity second. After 7 years here I am becoming a sneakers-geek. First and foremost sneakers have to be comfortable but it is a prerequisite that they also looks cool and presentable. I wear them day to night after all. I mean if you will wear your sneakers with your cool Saturday night dress they better look stunning. The chase for the perfect sneakers though is like looking for the perfect heels. The main difference is that I get more value for my money since they do not stay in the shoe rack for that 1 day per month that I might use them.
It has been a month that I have been looking and looking for the perfect pair. But if you really want something the universe…. blah blah blah.
While I was at the &OtherStories the other day picking some summer dresses for my summer holidays- which no has not arrived yet- they were standing right there in the shoe rack. Guilty as charged, I had no idea that &OtherStories sell adidas shoes. It took me one minute to try them and 10 more to make them mine, since the queue was long. A week after I can say with certainty, I LOVE THEM! They are soooo comfortable and I have been wearing them at work which is the ultimate crash test since I walk around 10.000 to 15.000 steps there. YUHU! Sneakers ow sneakers I love you, Scandinavia you too!
