I am writing to you from somewhere along the Norwegian South Coast. Me and my partner are on the road currently driving towards Grimstad where we are going to spend the night tonight. Final destination Stavanger.
Our ride started with a loooooooong queue outside Oslo. In a perfect world we would be already in Grimstad but there is no thing like a perfect world.
My new blog gives me the possibility to write from my phone. It is not as efficient as my macbook but I can use the basic functions and that is an upgrade already. This is the first time I am using it so I really hope it works out!
On our way to Grimstad we stopped next to this lake to have a small break and walk a little bit.
Isn’t it lovely?
The southernmost part of Norway has been the number one summer holiday destination for Norwegians, while remaining a hidden gem for international visitors.
Between the Oslofjord and Stavanger, Norway’s south coast is undeniably lovely. Speckled with islands and backed by forests and lakes, it’s a great place to drive around. Hundreds of Norwegians have summer houses or cabins along this stretch of the coast or many of them camp on the offshore islands. Even though summer holiday season is long gone, weather is still lovely and good enough for lighting a fire while enjoying the last weeks of summer sun.
And while we are definitely not planning to camp anywhere along the cost the landscape is mesmerizing.
When I travel I like to dress as comfortable as possible. I also avoid wearing makeup and just use a hydration mask instead. I haven’t been sleeping well the past days since at the moment I am working on different things and have been quite stressed.
Except for a perfect world there is no such thing as a perfect life. Life is full of challenges, choices and opportunities.
I read somewhere (cannot remember where). Life is 10% of what happens to you and 90% of how you react to it. And even though I have grown to be a positive person and try to see the positive in every situation, I also have days that I feel under the weather or/and stressed.
This is my fluffy, tired “just woke up from sleeping in the car” look.
What I Wear
Trousers
I am wearing black trousers from ZARA. I prefer cotton trousers to jeans because I find it way more comfortable.
Shirt
White embroidered shirt from H&M more here
Shoes
Stylesnob sneakers which I bought 1,5 year ago and I have been wearing all the time. They are comfortable, stylish and I can walk many miles in them (shoes record 23000 steps).
Accessories
CLUSE watch, more here.
Pandora bracelets here and here.
