Do you have Sundays when your body is telling you to hit the couch for the rest of the day, watch Netflix and do nothing at all? And do you also have Sundays that despite your body is on the red zone the soul is awake and you want to read, go to the gym, walk through the whole city, catch sun, write at the blog, listen to music, meet friends, go to pilates, catch up with your family and all the above at the same time? I spent half of the day walking around the city, catching the light and breathing in life. Right now after two episodes of the new political kick us thriller of “bodyguard” on Netflix… I am writing on the blog. Do I feel tired? yes, do I feel hyper?yes! but this was a kick ass long day and for sure a good ending of this week. Now I am looking forward to read my book in two hours (now it is 20.37) and hopefully fall asleep for a good 8 hours sleep. Hopefully… because lately me and sleep are on bad terms.
My walk started at Opera House of Oslo, continued to Vippetangen and Aker Brygge to finish at Frogner with some almond acai bowl for lunch here. So from the modern full of light Opera House I ended up in the “little Paris area” of Oslo to take the tram back home.
While I was wondering around the city these lyrics played in my head:
“A flock of birds hovering above just a flock of birds… and I always look up to the sky fly on fly on fly on”
